Barclays Stockbrokers Affinity Deal with UK Charity

Barclays Stockbrokers in London has entered into a three-year partnership deal with the National Trust, a major UK heritage charity. Barclays Stockbrokers will offer its brokerage services to the NT’s members, donors, volunteers and employees. These 1.5 million people will in return see ten per cent of revenue generated through the partnership donated to the NT and will be able to support it with their online investment activity at no additional cost. Investors wishing to use the service will pay the standard online dealing rate of £7.50 per trade but will also be able to save £5 ($10) in commission for each certificated share deal they make, paying £20 per trade.
